We can choose OCFS, ASM, RAW storage mechanism for the oracle database and OCFS /RAW for Cluster component. When we choose ASM storage mechanism for the oracle database. We must create ASM instance for all RAC nodes and ASM instance name must be unique.
# We configure virtual IP address (VIP) for each RAC nodes to maintain high availability. When one node fails, the failed node IP address can be reassigned to a existing node. Means user or application continue to accessing the database through the same IP address.
